You may already know that Jules Feiffer, the illustrator of The Long Chalkboard, is a Pulitzer Prize winner.
But did you know that he also won an Obie in 1967 for his play Little Murders, and an Academy Award in 1961 for his animated short, Munro, about a four-year-old boy who is drafted into the Army?
It’s no wonder that he’s being honored by School of Visual Arts with the Masters Series Award.
The Master Series: Jules Feiffer, SVA’s annual award exibition, kicks off tomorrow, Tuesday, October 24, and will be running until December 2. More information is available on SVA’s website.
