The 100 Most Beautiful Words in the English Language
As a sort of follow-up to Stephen Fry's entreaty for more people to appreciate the loveliness of language, here's a list of the 100 most beautiful words in the English language. While the English word I consider to be the most beautiful — "murmur" — wasn't included, I was reminded of some other lovely words ("inglenook" and "mondegreen") that I hope to surreptitiously work into conversation as much as is humanly possible.
