STOP...right there, pilgrim

You would think STOP on a bright red octagonal sign is imperative enough, but obviously not if we have to resort to these innovative measures:

The mayor of Oak Lawn, Chicago is changing the language on stop signs to convince people to pause for the customary five seconds. I think the "Billion Dollar Fine" one would definitely make me stop. Click here to see more of these signs. (ELHAM)
