Modern Standard Arabic is a standardized form of Arabic used in business, literature, education, politics, and the media throughout the Arabic-speaking world. It’s really a modernized form of classical Arabic, and it is not the same language as the spoken varieties found from Morocco to Iraq. It’s a good place to start as a student of Arabic, because it will get you through written materials and is of course closely related in structure and vocabulary to the spoken varieties.

Portuguese Language Resources

Portuguese is spoken by about 180 million people worldwide. It is one of the most spoken languages in South America, and is the official language of nine countries: Portugal, Brazil, Mozambique, East Timor, Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, and São Tomé and Princípe. The language has two major dialects: Brazilian Portuguese and European Portuguese.
