1. This sweepstakes runs from January 12, 2006 through March 17, 2006. To be eligible to win, you must complete the matching game on arthruandgeorge.com, and provide your name, address and e-mail address. Entries must be received by 11:59 pm Eastern time on February 18, 2006. Only one entry per person.
2. Ten entrants chosen at random from the eligible entries will be declared the winner and will receive a signed first edition of Arthur and George (retail value $24.95).
3. Winners will be chosen by Alfred A. Knopf, a division of Random House, Inc. ("Knopf") on or about April 1, 2006, whose decisions are final on all matters related to this sweepstakes. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Knopf is not responsible for lost, interrupted, garbled or jumbled entries or transmissions, or unavailable network, server, or other connections, or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical or electronic.
4. This sweepstakes is only open to all legal residents of the United States. Employees and family members of employees of Random House Inc., including its affiliates and subsidiaries are not eligible to enter. This sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state, and local regulations. Offer void where restricted or prohibited . Random House Inc. will not be responsible for payment of taxes on the value of any prize awarded hereunder. Each entrant in the sweepstakes must be the rightful owner or have authorized use of the e-mail account indicated by the entrant's e-mail address. In the event of a dispute concerning the identity of the winner submitting an entry, the winner will be deemed to be the person in whose name the e-mail account is opened.

By entering, entrants agree to abide by these rules and the decisions of Knopf, and release Knopf, its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers and agents from any and all liability for injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by participation in the sweepstakes or the acceptance, possession, or use/misuse of a prize.
6. The winners (identified by first name and last initial, city and state only) will be named on aaknopf.com in February 2006. Entering the sweepstakes constitutes consent to the use of the winners' names and entries for publicity and promotional purposes on behalf of (in Knopf's sole discretion) and with no additional compensation or further permission (except where prohibited by law). Any winner who is less than 18 years old will be required to furnish consent to this use by a parent or legal guardian.
