The Knopf Speakers Bureau is part of the Knopf Publishing Group, which was founded in 1915 by Alfred A. Knopf (read his Borzoi Credo) and his wife, Blanche W. Knopf. Alfred and Blanche believed in scouting the world for good writers, and their philosophy of seeking out and publishing the best writers in the world continues today under the aegis of Knopf Chairman and Editor in Chief Sonny Mehta. Knopf garners acclaim both for its list of authors and for the physical quality of the books published at the house (books we will make available for purchase at your event). The Knopf Publishing Group includes the Alfred A. Knopf, Pantheon, Schocken, Vintage, Anchor, and Everyman's Library book imprints.
