Who do you represent?

The authors we represent are listed in the Speakers section of this website. However, the Knopf Speakers Bureau also acts as a gateway for you to reach other Knopf authors (please visit www.aaknopf.com for a full list of those authors) whom you might wish to invite to speak at a function. Just send us an e-mail with the name of the authors you are seeking and we will make the connection.

Can you give me speaker suggestions for my event?

If you are looking for inspiration, we are happy to provide recommendations. We can help put you in touch with any Knopf authors, some of whom may be represented by other lecture agencies. Just send us an e-mail and we'll be in touch to discuss your needs.

How much will it cost to invite a speaker to lecture at my event?

Cost really depends upon the speaker and his or her travel time, as well as the work involved in preparing for the event. Please contact us and we'll be happy to discuss costs in more detail.

How are travel arrangements made?

Either KSB or the host can make the travel arrangements. Travel costs are usually considered separately from the speaker's fee and are borne by the host.

At what type of events do your authors speak?

All sorts of events—as diverse as the speakers themselves! Some examples are: as part of a lecture series, at luncheons, at conferences as keynote speakers, at university commencements or other university settings, at community "One-Reads," as keynote speakers to groups with a particular interest, as lecture programming on cruise ships and even at wine-tastings.

How do I promote my event?

We can help you with promotional materials. For example, if you need author photographs, jacket images, and press materials, please contact us. And we are happy to liaise with your press department.
