Welcome to my website.

My newest book, influenced by the gazillions of people who wrote me begging for a sequel to Flipped, is called Confessions of a Serial Kisser. If you’re one of those people, then you are directly responsible for my having a PINK book with LIPS. No, Confessions of a Serial Kisser is not a sequel to Flipped, but all that mail got me thinking about writing another romantic comedy, one with the key ingredient that those who wrote me about Flipped were clamoring for: KISSING. But you’ll find as you read my hot pink book that the story goes much deeper than it might first appear. It’s the depth of a book that motivates me to write it, not the surface gloss. And in the end you’ll see that in her own way Evangeline is a kick-tush girl—one that learns a lot about herself and what the perfect kiss is really all about.

If you're here because you're a Sammy Keyes fan, there's a whole section devoted to our favorite spunky sleuth, where you can learn all about Sammy and what's new in her world. You can also download the Sammy Keyes Song—my musical salute to Sammy! Younger readers should check out the Shredderman section, which spotlights a four-book series starring the world's first cyber-superhero (a fifth grader who finds creative ways of shreddin’ on bullies and other bad guys!)

And then there's a section for my other novels like Flipped (a romantic comedy for middle schoolers), Swear to Howdy (a story about the power of secrets), Runaway, which is the journal of a twelve-year-old who’s desperate for a better life.
