The COLOR TO READ program is intended to permit the purchasers of Random House coloring and activity books to collect tokens that they may then redeem for certain other books provided by the publisher. To participate in the program, purchasers must cut out and collect the COLOR TO READ tokens that appear on the back cover of selected coloring books and mail them to Random House to earn the awards. The program is governed by the following rules and limitations:

1. Eligibility.
The COLOR TO READ program is open to residents of the United States and all Canadian Provinces, except Quebec, only. Void where prohibited by law. Employees of Random House, Inc., its parents, affiliates or subsidiaries, and their immediate family members and persons living in their households, are not eligible to enter.

2. How to Enter.
A COLOR TO READ token appears on the back cover of select Golden Books-branded coloring and activity book titles beginning in the fall of 2007, and may be recognized by the appearance of the words “Color To Read Token” within a logo comprised of two crayons and an open book.

Cut-out and collect the COLOR TO READ tokens from the back covers of coloring and activity books that you purchase. Visit www.colortoread.com to view offered awards and download the official request form for the award of your choice. Then, fill out the request form, attach the necessary number of tokens for redemption, and mail to: “Random House Children’s Books, Color to Read, MD 10-3, 1745 Broadway, New York, NY 10019.” Allow 6–8 weeks for delivery. Mechanical reproductions or facsimiles of tokens will not be honored, and Random House, Inc. reserves the right to reject any tokens it deems not genuine.

3. Awards.
COLOR TO READ tokens are valid for the designated award options listed on www.colortoread.com at the time of your redemption. Awards are subject to change without notice, and a substitute award of equal value will be awarded in cases where a requested item is no longer available.

4. Reservations.
The COLOR TO READ program may not be combined or used in conjunction with any other promotion, coupon, discount or special offer; and is void where prohibited by law. No more than 400 COLOR TO READ tokens may be redeemed by any person over the life of the program. Random House, Inc. may, at its discretion, change the COLOR TO READ program rules, regulations, and special offers at any time with or without notice. This means that the accumulation of COLOR TO READ tokens does not entitle a consumer to any vested rights with respect to such COLOR TO READ awards or program benefits. In accumulating COLOR TO READ tokens, consumers may not rely upon the continued availability of any particular award. Any award may be withdrawn or subject to increased COLOR TO READ token requirements or new restrictions at any time. Random House, Inc. may, among other things, (i) withdraw, limit, modify, or cancel any award; (ii) change award offerings, conditions of participation, rules for redeeming COLOR TO READ tokens; or (iii) limit the number of items available for awards or otherwise restrict the continued availability of awards or special offers. Random House, Inc. may make any one or more of these changes at any time even though such changes may affect consumer ability to use the COLOR TO READ tokens that they have already accumulated. Random House, Inc. reserves the right to end the COLOR TO READ program at any time.
