Barbara Natterson-Horowitz and Kathryn Bowers' Zoobiquity has been named a finalist for the 2013 AAAS/Subaru Science Book and Films Prize for Excellence in Science Books in the Young Adult category. The SB&F Prize "promotes science literacy by showcasing the importance of good science writing that appeals to teens and young adult audiences." In Zoobiquity, Natterson-Horowitz—a cardiologist—joins forces with science journalist Kathryn Bowers and employs fascinating case studies and meticulous scholarship to present a revelatory understanding of what animals can teach us about the human body and mind.
