Revised Teacher's Guide with CCSS now available for The Hobbit
In advance of the premiere of the first installment in Peter Jackson's cinematic adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit (opening in theaters on December 14, 2012), we are pleased to offer a revised Teacher's Guide for the book, now with Common Core State Standards. Please note that while there is a movie tie-in edition of the book with a new cover, the original Del Rey Mass Market edition of The Hobbit remains available.
And please stay tuned in the new year for the publication of revised Teacher's Guides for each book in Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings trilogy, complete with Common Core State Standards.
