Enter by printing your name, date of birth, your parent’s/guardian’s name, full address, and phone number on either an 8.5 x 11 piece of paper or an online print-out entry at www.goldenbooks.com and include where you would like to go on your 2008 summer vacation, choosing from one of the places that Poky visited this year (see below). Entries must be mailed separately and received by Random House between May 8, 2007 and August 31, 2007 (“Entry Deadline”). LIMIT ONE ENTRY PER FAMILY. Partially completed or illegible entries will not be accepted. Sponsors will not be responsible for lost, early, late, mutilated, illegible, stolen, postage due, incomplete or misdirected entries. All entries become the property of Random House and will not be returned, so please keep a copy for your records.

ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States, and the District of Columbia, and Canada, excluding the Province of Quebec, who are 8 years of age or younger as of August 31, 2007. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. All Canadian entrants must correctly answer, without assistance, a mathematical skill-testing question before they can be declared winners. Void wherever prohibited or restricted by law. Employees of Random House Inc., and their parent companies, assigns, subsidiaries or affiliates, and advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies; their immediate family members, and persons living in their household are not eligible to enter this Sweepstakes.

PRIZES: There will be one (1) Grand Prize Winner selected and ten (10) Runners Up selected. One Grand Prize Winner will win roundtrip coach airfare for four (4) departing from the major U.S. or Canadian gateway airport nearest to winner's home, a hotel stay for 2 nights (one room; quadruple occupancy), ground transportation to and from the airport while in one of the following cities (Hollywood, CA, Grand Canyon, AZ, Chicago, IL, Orlando, FL, Washington DC, New York, NY, Las Vegas, NV) for: him/herself, one (1) parent or legal guardian, and two (2) others, (Approximate retail value $4900.00 US); actual retail value may vary depending on the winner’s city of departure and time of year. The trip will be taken between May 1, 2008 and August 31, 2008 (excluding holiday weekends)All incidental expenses and taxes not specified herein will be the sole responsibility of the winner and his/her travel companions, including without limitation food and beverages. Travel and lodging are subject to availability and certain travel restrictions and blackout dates may apply. Winner and travel companions must travel on the same itinerary. WINNERS: Winners will be chosen on or around October 1, 2007, from all eligible entries received by the Random House Marketing Department within the Entry Deadline. Winners will be randomly selected from the entries by the Random House Marketing Department staff, whose decisions are final. The entry must state the place you would like to visit in 2008 based on where Poky visited in 2007 ((Hollywood, CA, Grand Canyon, AZ, Chicago, IL, Orlando, FL, Washington DC, New York, NY, Las Vegas, NV). The prize will be awarded in the name of the winner's parent or legal guardian. Winner or winner’s parent or legal guardian will be notified by mail on or about October 15, 2007 and the winner, the winner’s parents/legal guardians, and other travel companions will be required to sign and return affidavit(s) of eligibility and release of liability within 30 days of notification. Any noncompliance with the 30-day time period or the return of any notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and the selection of an alternate winner by sponsor. In the event of any other noncompliance with rules and conditions, prize may be awarded to an alternate winner.

RESERVATIONS: By participating, participants and winners (and winners’ parent/legal guardian) agrees that Random House, Inc., and its parent
companies, assigns, subsidiaries or affiliates, advertising, promotion, fulfillment agencies, and suppliers will have no liability whatsoever, and will be held harmless by participants and winners (and participants’ and winners’ parent/legal guardian or travel companies) for any liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind to person, including death, and property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the acceptance, possession, misuse, or use of the prize, or participation in this Sweepstakes. Winner and Winner's travel companions will be required to complete, sign, notarize and return Affidavit of Eligibility & Liability/Publicity Release before claiming prize. Failure to do so will result in disqualification of the winner and an alternate winner will be selected.

By entering the Sweepstakes the Winner or Winners’ parent or legal guardian consents to the use of the Winners’ name, likeness, and biographical data for publicity and promotional purposes on behalf of Random House, Inc. with no additional compensation or further permission, worldwide and in perpetuity, in any and all forms of media now known or hereafter devised, including without limitation the Internet, unless prohibited by law. All other entry names will NOT be used for subsequent mail solicitation.
