"Danielle by Danielle Steel" The perfume from Elizabeth Arden

"This is my first foray into the world of fragrance, and it has given new meaning to the excitement of wearing a new perfume. It has amazed me to discover how much time, thought, work, care and expertise go into the creation of a fragrance. The result of this collaboration is a fragrance that I think you will all love — a beautiful blend of lush green notes, modern florals, and sensual musk.
I particularly love the advertising tagline "Believe in Happy Endings", because it gives us all hope and dreams. Believing in happy endings, no matter how challenging the road to get there, keeps us all going. And a fragrance that reminds us of that is truly a wonderful thing! I am thrilled to introduce my fragrance."

The Nick Traina Foundation
The Nick Traina Foundation was founded by Danielle Steel in 1998 as a legacy to her son who lost his life to manic-depression.
The mission of The Nick Traina Foundation is to reach out in areas that were important to Nick Traina and his family. The key issue in Nick Traina's life was his lifelong battle with mental illness, in the form of manic-depression, which eventually took his life. The Nick Traina Foundation's goal is to provide funds in areas related to manic-depressive illness and its diagnosis, including research and treatment, and funding organizations that help families who continue to battle the illness. Lifting the veil of ignorance, speaking into the silence, and dispelling the burden of stigma are essential to people suffering from bipolar disease. Organizations providing hands-on assistance to manic-depressives, and their families, are key to helping these people lead safe, happy, and productive lives.

HIS BRIGHT LIGHT
From the day he was born, Nick Traina was his mother's joy. By nineteen, he was dead. This is Danielle Steel's powerful, personal story of the son she lost and the lessons she learned during his courageous battle against darkness. Sharing tender, painful memories and Nick's remarkable journals, Steel brings us a haunting duet between a singular young man and the mother who loved him--and a harrowing portrait of a masked killer called manic depression, which afflicts between two and three million Americans.
At once a loving legacy and an unsparing depiction of a devastating illness, Danielle Steel's tribute to her lost son is a gift of life, hope, healing, and understanding to us all.
