Blind Date
A meeting by an intelligence officer and another person, especially an agent, at the time and place of the other person's choosing. There is always the danger that the officer is being set up for capture or an attempt to turn him.

U.S. code name for planned intelligence collection activities by the U.S. Navy spy ships Banner and Pueblo off the coasts of North Korea and Soviet Siberia during 1968. The effort was cancelled after the capture of the Pueblo by North Koreans on Jan. 23, 1968.
