Jeff Yang is the publisher and founder of
A. Magazine: Inside
Asian America, which he launched upon graduating from Harvard University in
1989. Since then,
A. has grown into the nation's largest publication for
English-speaking Asian Americans.
Before embarking on his collaboration with Jackie, Yang cowrote A.
Magazine's first book, Eastern Standard Time: A Guide to Asian Influence in
American Culture, From Astro Boy to Zen Buddhism (Houghton Mifflin, May
1997). Yang has also been a columnist for The Village Voice, and a
featured contributor for Vibe.
He lives in New York City, where he always does his own stunts.
