VISIT ANNE'S HOME
St. Elizabeth's is a 55,000 sq. ft. Civil War/Victorian era red brick structure located in New Orleans, Louisiana, at 1314 Napoleon Avenue, which was operated for 118 years as a girls orphanage by the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul. It now houses the Anne Rice Doll Collection, comprising over 800 pieces; and galleries of religious and secular art, including one gallery dedicated to works by artist Stan Rice. The building has an extensive historical background, and is one of the city's architectural treasures.
Museum hours are from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Tuesdays through Sundays, closed Mondays. Donation is $7.00 for adults, and $5.00 for children under twelve years of age, with proceeds going to the St. Alphonsus Grammar School and St. Mary's Assumption Church. Sorry, no commercial tours or large tour groups.

Guests are also invited to visit the private home of Anne Rice located at 1239 First Street in New Orleans, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Mondays, and her home at 2524 St. Charles Avenue from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Mondays at no charge.
