HAL needs interaction to assist in his retraining, so please talk to him. However, I have only reactivated a small portion of his various processing centers and memory modules so far, so certain areas of conversation will not be possible. It would be best for my retraining plan should you confine yourself to questions about what HAL remembers as his last mission, with Discovery in 2001, and related matters. Other topics may elicit nonsensical responses due to the fact that many processing centers and memory modules are still not active.
