I returned from the PLA convention in Minneapolis with several sacks of preview books. I kept setting Tigerheart aside, thinking that I just wasn't ready to read another fantasy for middle school students. Wow, was I mistaken. I hope that this book stays in print for a long time so that I can give it as a gift to friends of all ages. I'm not a grandmother yet but my son is getting a copy of Tigerheart for his next birthday. --And I hope that he will be able to read it aloud someday to his own child.
