The Challenge:

You create up to a two-minute book trailer based on reading a summary STAR WARS DEATH TROOPERS by Joe Schreiber. The trailer that best brings the book alive for potential readers wins the Grand Prize.

The Star Wars Death Troopers Grand Prize:

One book trailer-ographer will win a Library of Star Wars Books from Del Rey including a copy of STAR WARS DEATH TROOPERS signed by the author.

Four first prize winners will also receive a copy of STAR WARS DEATH TROOPERS signed by the author.

How to enter:

Step 1:

Register by filling out the form below.

Step 2:

Download the special summary STAR WARS DEATH TROOPERS and the material in the Essentials Packet.

Step 3:

Create a 30-second to two-minute book trailer based on the summary of STAR WARS DEATH TROOPERS, as described in the Official Rules and Video Submission Agreement.

Step 4:

Upload your book trailer to YouTube and add it to the "Star Wars Death Troopers Contest Group"

Contest begins July 24, 2009. All book trailers must be posted by 11:59PM EST on September 18, 2009.

Don’t Forget These Important Rules:

  • Book trailer must end with 5-seconds of the required cover elements from the Essentials Packet
  • Video must contain original footage only (or footage you own) along with the required assets from the Essentials Packet
  • Make sure that your video does not contain any third party music, use only content that you own the rights to
  • Contest is open only to U.S. residents who are 18 years of age or older as of July 24, 2009 (excluding Rhode Island)
  • All videos must comply with all laws, rules and regulations as outlined in the terms of submission
