TOWER OF SHADOWS SWEEPSTAKES

I. HOW TO ENTER
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.  To enter, go to the web page for this Sweepstakes, located at http://www.randomhouse.com/delrey/alloy/index.html, and complete and submit the form as instructed. ONE ENTRY PER PERSON. If multiple entries are received from any person in violation of these rules, all such entries will be disqualified. All entries must be received between 12:01 AM on December 12, 2006 and 11:59 PM EST on January 12, 2007. Only entries submitted electronically to the Web site in accordance with these rules will be eligible for consideration. In the event of a dispute about entries submitted by multiple individuals using the same e-mail account, entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized subscriber of the e-mail account used to enter the sweepstakes at the actual time of entry. The authorized e-mail account subscriber is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses or the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Entries generated by script, macro, robotic, programmed, or any other automated means are prohibited and will be disqualified.  

II. ELIGIBILITY
Sweepstakes is open to all legal residents of the fifty United States who are over the age of 13 on December 12, 2006. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void wherever prohibited or restricted by law. Employees of Random House Inc. (“Random House”), Alloy, Inc., and AMC Entertainment Inc., including their respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliates, and such individuals' immediate family members, and persons living in their household are not eligible to enter this sweepstakes.  

III. PRIZES
10 prize winners will receive one AMC movie pass each (approximate retail value: $10.00). No transfer or substitution of prizes.  

IV. WINNERS
Winners will be chosen at random on or about January 15, 2007, from all eligible entries received within the deadline.  Chances of winning depend on number of entrants. All prizes will be awarded. By participation, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules. Winners will be notified by email on or about January 17th and will be required to sign and return affidavit(s) of eligibility and release within fourteen (14) days after notification. A noncompliance within that time period, or the return of any notification as undeliverable, will result in disqualification and the selection of an alternate winner. In the event of any other noncompliance with rules and conditions, prize(s) may be awarded to an alternate winner. If winners are notified by electronic mail, each winner must reply with all contact information requested in the notification within (10) days from the date notification was sent or another winner will be selected.  The prizes will be awarded in the name of the winners. Taxes, if any are the sole responsibility of the winners.  

V. RESERVATIONS
Random House assumes no responsibility for any error; omission; interruption; deletion; defect; delay in operation or transmission; communications-line failure; or the theft destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entries. Random House is not responsible for (i) entries that contain inaccurate information or do not comply with these rules, (ii) entries, prize claims, or notifications that are lost, late, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, damaged, or otherwise not received by the intended recipient, in whole or in part, due to computer or technical error of any kind, (iii) any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines; computer online systems, servers, or providers; computer equipment or software; or failure of e-mail or entry on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site or combination thereof, including injury or damage to the participant's or to any person's computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials from this Web site or sweepstakes. Random House, in its sole discretion, reserves the rights to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Website or otherwise violating these rules. Random House further reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or modify the sweepstakes if the sweepstakes cannot be completed as planned because of infection by computer, virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, or technical failures of any sort. By entering, participants and their parents and legal guardians release and hold harmless Random House, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, attorneys, agents, and representatives from any and all liability for an any injuries, loss, claim, action, demand, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the sweepstakes, participation in the sweepstakes, any prize won, any misuse or malfunction of any prize awarded, participation in any sweepstakes-related activity.
