Letter from the Author

Let me start by saying that I am not a writer and writing this book has been a challenge, but it was also a lot of fun. My career is all about making myself invisible, but performing Elmo has been so exciting and I feel so grateful and blessed that I wanted to share my story—and his. I have heard people say that when you are doing what you love, and what you are meant to do, it doesn't feel like work. For me, that is true. My hope is that more people can do what they love and find as much success and happiness in it as I have.
