Enter the WHAT I LOVE ABOUT YOU & CHOCONET CONTEST To win a free book and care package of chocolates! Sponsored by Broadway Books, a division of Random House, Inc., 1745 Broadway, New York, NY 10019 OFFICIAL RULES: I. How To Enter: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. What I Love About You is a wonderful fill-in-the-blank journal book by Kate and David Marshall, that is filled with prompts to write down everything you love about your significant other. On page 5, there's a prompt to fill in a blank page that says, "I First Knew I Loved You When..." And now, you get to remember your story about the first time you knew you loved your significant other, for a chance to win a free copy of the book and a care package of Choconet chocolates. To Enter, write down your love story, entitled "I First Knew I Loved You When..." and email it to WhatILoveAboutYou@randomhouse.com Note, your story must be 100 words or less. Anything longer will not be accepted. With your emailed story, include your name, address, phone number and date of birth. Subject line of the email should be: What I Love About You contest. Multiple entries will not be accepted. The contest begins 12:01 A.M. (EST) on February 13, 2007 and final submissions are due by 11:59 PM (EST) on April 1, 2007. All submissions become the sole property of Random House, and will not be returned or acknowledged. ELIGIBILITY Contest is open to legal residents of the United States, who are at least 18 years of age on February 13, 2007. Employees of Random House and Choconet, their parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers and agencies, and their immediate family members and person living in their household are not eligible to enter this contest. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void wherever prohibited or restricted by law. III. WINNER SELECTION AND PRIZES: Eligible entries will be judged by the authors of What I Love About You, with the marketing departments of Broadway Books and Choconet, in their sole discretion, on the basis of originality and romantic content. The decision of the judges will be final. Five (5) prizes will be awarded, each consisting of a What I Love About You journal book and a care package of Choconet chocolates. Each package will include a bag of Choconet chocolate hearts and a box of Choconet chocolate roses. ARV of each prize is $ 74.00. IV. WINNER NOTIFICATION All winners will be notified on or around April 30, 2007. The winners will be notified by email, mail or telephone and will be required to sign and return affidavit(s) of eligibility and release of liability within 14 days of notification. Noncompliance within that time period or the return of any notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and the selection of an alternate winner. In the event of any other noncompliance with rules and conditions, prizes may be awarded to an alternate winner. Taxes, if any, are the winner's sole responsibility. No substitution or transfer of the prizes will be permitted, except by Random House in its sole discretion. V. ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS Random House assumes no responsibility for any error; omission; interruption; deletion; defect; delay in operation or transmission; communications-line failure; or the theft destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entries. Random House is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines; computer online systems, servers, or providers; computer equipment or software; or failure of e-mail or entry on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site or combination thereof, including injury or damage to the participant's or to any person's computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials from this Web site or contest.
