Greg Behrendt is the coauthor of the two-million-copy bestseller He’s Just Not that Into You. He has appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show, Today, 20/20, and The Early Show, and his acclaimed stand-up comedy has been seen on HBO, Comedy Central Presents…, The Tonight Show, Late Show with David Letterman, and Late Night with Conan O’Brien. A consultant on Sex and the City for three consecutive seasons, he was named by Variety in 2001 as one of the “10 Comics to Watch.” His newest stand-up DVD, “Greg Behrendt is Uncool,” will be released the fall of 2005.

Amiira Ruotola-Behrendt worked for many years as a record executive in the music industry, first with Atlantic Records, where she oversaw the marketing campaigns for artists including Stone Temple Pilots, The Lemonheads, and Juliana Hatfield, and later as an A&R Executive for Epic Records. Since 2000, she has been a full-time writer, developing projects for 20th Century Fox Television, The Shooting Gallery, and Dakota Films/Comedy Central.

Greg and Amiira, married for five years, are partners in their production company, There Might Be Cake, Inc. They live in Los Angeles with their two children.
