Synopsis
Synopsis
In May’s town, before there were frozen pizzas, and take-out pizza, and pizzerias, there was hardly anything good to eat. But that all changed when Mrs. Pellegrino came to town. When she arrived, she sniffed the air very hard and became very sad. The children all thought she was homesick, and worked very hard to cheer her up. They put on plays and caught fireflies for her, but she never seemed really happy, because there was “No pizza.” Finally, May and her friends think of a surefire way to cheer up Mrs. Pellegrino, and discover a new delicious food, too.
