FILLED WITH GENTLE humor and lots of photo illustrations, here are three favorite stories straight from the classic Thomas DVDs. First, Thomas is eager to hear the Legend of Proteus’ Lamp. Next, James gets a new coat, and doesn’t want to ruin it by working too hard. And finally, a beautiful golden eagle has been spotted on Sodor. Thomas loves birds, but the eagle never seems to be anywhere that Thomas can see it.

About Rev. W. Awdry
In the early 1940s, a loving father crafted a small, blue, wooden engine for his son, Christopher. The stories that this father, THE REVEREND W. AWDRY, made up to accompany this wonderful toy were first published in 1945. He continued to create new adventures and characters until 1972 when he retired from writing. Reverend Awdry died in 1997 at age 85.
Jordan Linfield and Joseph Krevisky have collaborated on several best-selling books, including Words of Life. Both have had leading editorial positions at major publishing houses in addition to long-standing careers as educators in New York City.
