Synopsis

Excerpt

This step in the creation of a comic represents the biggest change that's ever been made in the art of the comic book. Where once comic book coloring was a technical process with very few options, it is now one of limitless possibilities. Many of today's comics look more like classically illustrated storybooks than the disposable comic books of the past. This is due primarily to the role of the computer colorist. Always remember, though, that there's a fine line between lush, beautifully rendered coloring and over-done, grotesquely outrageous coloring. The choice of which kind you produce is up to you.
