About Ian Flynn

Ian Flynn - Mega Man 1: Let the Games Begin
Ian Flynn (born May 31, 1982), also known by his Internet pen name Ian Potto, is an American comic writer. He has been the chief writer for Archie's Sonic the Hedgehog comic since issue #160. Flynn obtained the writing position on the comic by sending in unsolicited proposals, after a long participation in unofficial creation of comics about Sonic. He is notable for being a rare case of making a transition from active amateur to pro. He gained initial recognition for a fan comic known as Other M. His stories contain heavy usage of prior continuity and returning characters.
Praise

Praise

"Mega Man returns to comics with an explosive new series!" --Nintendo Power Magazine

"Creating a connection that actually elevates an aspect of the source material is the best thing an adaptation can hope for, and Flynn and Spaz pull it off with an ease that makes it seamless, while still telling a great all-ages action story." --AOL Comics Alliance
