In this section we're featuring two exciting young writers: poet Alison
Dorfman and author Arthur Bradford. A denizen of the Poetry Project, Alison's work is bold and humorous, yet always touching. In addition to reading four of her poems, you can listen to her read several more herself through the wonders of Real Audio. Bradford, an Austin, Texas-based writer of short fiction, was recently featured in Prize Stories 1997: The O. Henry Awards. His short story, "South for Winter," demonstrates his perverse sense of humor and ability to quickly draw fully-realized characters. Send us comments |
