Robert Goddard, Hannah Tinti, and Stephen King

The Darkest Evening of the Year Debuts as #1 New York Times Bestseller
Dean Koontz’s latest suspense novel, The Darkest Evening of the Year, landed in the #1 Paperback Fiction slot on the New York Times bestseller list this week. The Lost Tomb by David Gibbins and Amazing Grace by Danielle Steel each remain on that list at the #9 and #13 spots, respectively. Still strong at #2 on the Hardcover Nonfiction list is The Snowball: Warren Buffett and the Business of Life by Alice Schroeder and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows secures presence on the Hardcover Fiction list at #15.

Logorrhea Short Story Wins World Fantasy Award
Congratulations to Theodora Goss author of “Singing of Mount Abora,” from Spectra’s Logorrhea (edited by John Klima), which won the 2008 World Fantasy Award for Best Short Story. Winners were announced at World Fantasy Convention in Calgary, Alberta.
