Mister Pip a Kiriyama Prize Finalist
Pacific Rim Voices announced the 10 finalists for the 12th annual Kiriyama Prize and Lloyd Jones’s Mister Pip is on the list! The Kiriyama Prize is awarded annually in recognition of outstanding books that promote greater understanding of and among the nations of the Pacific Rim and of South Asia. Winners will be chosen in late March. Mister Pip has already received the 2007 Commonwealth Writer’s Prize.
