The Cleanup takes 2007 Barry Award for Best Paperback
Mystery News and Deadly Pleasures presented Sean Doolittle with the Barry Award for Best Paperback Original for The Cleanup. The Barry Awards, named for beloved ambassadors of mystery fiction Barry Gardner, are voted on by the readers of Mystery News and Deadly Pleasures. Winners were announced at Bouchercon World Mystery Convention.
Dusk wins British Fantasy Award for Best Novel

Mister Pip Shortlisted for 2007 Man Booker Prize

Pratt wins Hugo Award for Best Short Story
Congratulations to Tim Pratt who was awarded the 2007 Hugo Award for Best Short Story for his piece “Impossible Dreams” (Asimov’s Jul 2006). Pratt is the author of The Strange Adventures of Rangergirl and Blood Engines. The Hugo Award, also known as the Science Fiction Achievement Award, is given annually by the World Science Fiction Society.
