Of all the elements to Fairy Tale, I'd say the one I concentrated least on was the setting. That's probably because I wanted you to imagine the high school that Morgan and Cam attended to be just like your school. If the setting was just an ordinary, everyday place that any teen could relate to, I knew it would make the events of the novel—namely, a girl learning her "perfect" boyfriend was a fairy—appear even more out-there and extraordinary.
