Andrew Gaeddert’s personal experience with Crohn’s disease and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) inspired his search for effective therapies. He founded the alternative medicine company Health Concerns in 1984. The author of numerous articles on alternative medicine and such books as Healing Immune Disorders and Chinese Herbs in the Western Clinic, he lives in Oakland, CA.
