About the Author
Dr. Richard A. Gardner was a child psychiatrist and psychoanalyst and a member of the faculty of Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons, and the William A. White Psychoanalytic Institute. In his private practice he worked for many years with divorced parents and their children.
