James Watson
About the Author
James Watson is an academic, biologist, geneticist, zoologist, and scientist. Born in 1928, Watson is a Nobel Prize–winning biophysicist credited with the historic codiscovery of the double-helix structure of DNA, along with Francis Crick. He received his PhD in zoology from the University of Indiana in 1950. Beginning in 1955, he taught biology and conducted research at Harvard University for 15 years.
