Lore Segal
LORE SEGAL is a novelist and translator. Her novel, Her First American, won an award in literature from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. Her work as a translator includes The Book of Adam to Moses, illustrated by Leonard Baskin, and The Juniper Tree, a collection of tales from the Brothers Grimm, illustrated by Maurice Sendak. She lived in New York and teaches at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
