Since it's beginning in the early 1980s as the pioneering Bantam Doubleday Dell Audio, Random House Audio has evolved into one of the most prolific audio publishers in the industry. From the days of cassettes, to CDs, and now looking forward into the digital arena, Random House Audio is dedicated to producing top-quality fiction and nonfiction audiobooks written and read by the best in the business. Our audiobooks have won 11 Grammy® Awards and 34 Audie® Awards.

Listening Library

After publishing its first audiobook in 1955, Jules Verne's Around the World in 80 Days, Listening Library grew into one of the biggest names in the youth audio industry, releasing over 100 titles each year. In the late 1970s, the focus shifted to recording for children and young adults. In the years since, Listening Library titles have earned more than 200 ALSC and YALSA Audiobook Awards, 55 Audie® Awards and two Grammy® Awards.

Listening Library has set and broken our own records again and again with bestselling series like J.K.
