ABOUT THE AUTHOR

PHILIP K. HOWARD, a lawyer, is the author of The Death of Common Sense. He advised both Vice President Al Gore and Senator Bob Dole on regulatory reform, and worked on reform initiatives with a number of governors and other public officials. Howard has also lead numerous community initiatives and is currently the chairman of a leading civic group in New York.
