ABOUT THE AUTHOR

JOHN PRENDERGAST is a human rights activist and author. He is cofounder of the Enough Project (enoughproject.org), an initiative to end genocide and crimes against humanity. He has worked in African conflict zones for over twenty-five years and was involved in a number of African peace processes as a diplomat in the Clinton administration.

DON CHEADLE is an actor, film producer, philanthropist, and author. In 2004, his lead role as Rwandan hotel manager Paul Rusesabagina in the genocide drama film Hotel Rwanda earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor.
