NBCC Announces 2013 Winners

Americanah

One of the most prestigious prizes in American Letters, the National Book Critics Circle Award has just been awarded to four Random House authors: Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's Americanah (Knopf) for Fiction, Sheri Fink's Five Days at Memorial: Life and Death in a Storm-Ravaged Hospital (Crown) for Nonfiction, Franco Moretti's Distant Reading (Verso) for criticism, and Anthony Marra's Constellation of Vital Phenomena: A Novel (Hogarth) has won as the debut recipient of the NBCC's John Leonard Prize.

The 2013 winners were announced at a ceremony in Manhattan on March 13th, 2014.
