Lucy Hughes-Hallett Wins Samuel Johnson Prize

Lucy Hughes-Hallett's Gabriele d'Annunzio has won the 2013 Samuel Johnson Prize. One of the most highly regarded prizes for non-fiction books the Samuel Johnson Prize "aims to reward the best of non-fiction and is open to authors of all non-fiction books in the areas of current affairs, history, politics, science, sport, travel, biography, autobiography and the arts," and comes with £20,000 award.
