2012 National Book Awards Finalists Announced

Iron Curtain

Anne Applebaum's Iron Curtain, Katherine Boo's Behind the Beautiful Forevers, and Robert A. Caro's The Passage of Power have all been named finalists for the 2012 National Book Award in the non-fiction category. Dave Eggers' A Hologram for the King (to be published in paperback by Vintage Books in June 2013) is a finalist in the fiction category. This year's winners will be announced Wednesday, November 14th at the National Book Foundations annual dinner in New York City.
