The Center for Fiction Announces Flaherty-Dunnan First Novel Prize Shortlist

Dog Stars

Peter Heller's The Dog Stars and Maggie Shipstead's Seating Arrangements have both been shortlisted for The Center for Fiction's Flaherty-Dunnan First Novel Prize. The prize, given annually to the best debut novel of the year, comes with a $10,000 award (with the shortlisted authors receiving $1,000 each) and will be presented at The Center for Fiction's Benefit and Awards Dinner on December 11th, 2012 in New York City.
