Jasanoff George Washington Book Award

Maya Jasanoff has been awarded the George Washington Book Prize for Liberty's Exiles, her critically-acclaimed account of British loyalists forced to flee America after the Revolutionary War. The award is given annually to the best book about America's founding era from the previous year and comes with a $50,000 prize.
