A Visit from the Goon Squad

Jennifer Egan has won the 2011 Pulitzer Prize for distinguished fiction by an American author for A Visit from the Goon Squad, a breathtaking array of styles and tones that interlocks the pasts and presents of an aging former punk rocker and record executive and the passionate, troubled young woman he employs. Jonathan Dee was named a fiction award finalist for his novel The Privileges and Alan Brinkley was named a finalist in the biography category for his biography of Henry Luce, The Publisher.
