PEN Center USA to Honor James Salter with 2010 Lifetime Achievement Award

On November 17th, James Salter will be awarded the PEN USA 2010 Lifetime Achievement Award at the organization's 20th Annual Literary Awards Festival in Beverly Hills, California. In their press release, PEN Center USA describes James as "one of the finest 'writers' writers' in the United States in the second half of the 20th century."
