Pulitzer Prize Winners

The First Tycoon

Two Knopf Doubleday Publishing Group titles are 2010 Pulitzer Prize Winners: The First Tycoon: The Epic Life of Cornelius Vanderbilt by T.J. Stiles (Alfred A. Knopf) in the Biography/Autobiography category, and The Dead Hand: The Untold Story of the Cold War Arms Race and Its Dangerous Legacy by David E. Hoffman (Doubleday) in the General Nonfiction category. Both winners will soon be available as Vintage/Anchor paperbacks. The two finalists in the Biography/Autobiography category are Woodrow Wilson: A Biography by John Milton Cooper, Jr. and Cheever: A Life by Blake Bailey, both published by Alfred A Knopf.
