Where is Adobe electronic content stored on my computer?

  • On Windows XP, electronic content PDF files are stored in My Documents > My Digital Editions.
  • On Windows Vista, electronic content PDF files are stored in Documents > My Digital Editions.
  • On a Mac OS, electronic content PDF files are stored in Documents > Digital Editions.

Note that you can access your electronic content directly through Adobe Digital Editions. To open your book follow these steps:

  1. Open Adobe Digital Editions.
  2. Select the 'Library View' icon (in the upper left corner).
    The Adobe Digital Editions library is displayed.
  3. Under the 'Bookshelves' heading, select 'Borrowed'.
  4. Click the desired electronic content.
  5. Click the 'Item Options' arrow (in the upper left corner of the selected electronic content).
  6. Select 'Open Item' to open your electronic content.
