I just finished "Audition" and of all the bio's I've read this was the most interesting...what a fascinating life you have had...your book is a great 'herstory' about what pioneer women had to endure when the Neanderthal was in charge. Well, how do I begin to praise the woman, the mother, the professional reporter, the daughter and modern woman? After reading Audition I know how much courage and energy is stored in that small frame of a woman, seemingly fragile and super feminine. I now completely admire you, Barbara.

Ms. Walters- I enjoyed your special about open heart surgery. However, since much emphasis is placed on it being the #1 killer of women, maybe you could do a follow-up with women. I myself had a heart attack in 2004 and have since had 17 stents added to keep me going. Our general make-up is smaller ... (continued)

Hello Barbara, I enjoyed your special about open heart sugary. As a member of the Zipper club myself I had mine at the ripe old age of 48. I am now at a young age of 63. Barb you forgot (maybe on purpose) to mention that just before they wheel you in to the OR, you are shaved all over, except your head ... (continued)
